PhotoMapper is our Windows-based CDROM/DVD product that we have partnered with AirphotoUSA to produce. We are the regional reseller of the PhotoMapper viewing software. Easy enough for anyone to use it, advanced enough for experts to capitalize on it.
Our PhotoMapper coverage maps illustrates the CD Package layout.
Fast & efficient viewing
of raster imagery and vector attributed information simultaneously
on current hardware.
View entire project as
one seamless map; rids the user of file names and image edge
considerations.
No intensive training is
needed to use the software; any skill level user will be productive
in less than 5 minutes of use.
Quickly pan and zoom to
any area using only the mouse.
PhotoMapper will export the photography into
standard file formats
which are supported by other software such as Arc/INFO, ArcView,
MapInfo, MicroStation, Intergraph IRASC, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint,
PhotoShop, etc. while maintaining geo-referenced coordinates.
PhotoMapper will warp the
image to other coordinate projections during export to overlay
with GIS data in other software packages.
PhotoMapper will accurately
measure distances on the photography. It also calculates the
perimeter and area of any polygon by simply drawing around
its boundaries with the mouse.
Zoom
to an address, intersection or a specific coordinate.
Import AutoCAD DXF, MapInfo
MIF, or ArcView Shape vector files to overlay the photography. Some object types
not supported.
PhotoMapper will print
directly to your printer.
GIS Data Systems
All potential GIS users
do not have the software necessary to access GIS data. Add
to that the fact that loading the data and commanding the
software are tasks that exceeds the casual computer user.
PhotoMapper imports the MapInfo data format and provides several
easy methods of searching data based on attribute fields.
All data are stored and indexed for the user so that they simply
launch the application and are greeted with an overview of
the map. All functions are driven with the mouse and are intuitive.
PhotoMapper facilitates the easy distribution of GIS data.
Our solution takes the burden off of both the data providers
and the users. With the portability of the data on a single
CD ROM, data can be shown on laptops for use by Real Estate
Brokers, Police and Fire Departments, Utility companies, Field
Technicians, or anyone who needs easy, portable raster &
vector data viewing capability.
Engineering Applications
With the growth in the AutoCAD
and Intergraph raster markets comes the need to supply the
data. We have several clients that use PhotoMapper as a companion
product to their CAD engines. Since most CAD-based software
also has limitations of raster viewing capabilities, PhotoMapper
fills the need.
By supplying the entire raster coverage on a single CD, an
image library, the technician can export the area needed for
the engineering sheet, dictating the disk size and even if
they want color or greyscale. Since the images are continuous
across the project area, the user no longer needs to be concerned
about image edges, or pulling data from several images to
attain the desired coverage.
This allows the target CAD engine to operate efficiently by
only using the file it needs, at a size it can handle, which
keeps the users productive.

Companion to Existing
GIS
We
recognize the roles of Arc/Info, ArcView, Intergraph MGE, MapInfo, even
AutoCAD ADE as a GIS. We maintain full compatibility with all of these
softwares making PhotoMapper the perfect companion to any
GIS solution.
The export capability of PhotoMapper is driven automatically
in the background from these popular GIS packages. We have
added a button to our MapInfo interface that clips (based
on current MapInfo view) an image from the CD, and pops it
into place as an open table; completely automatic, and fully
geo-referenced.
